New Audio Model - Weekly Wednesday (Aug 27, 2025)

This week, we released two major new updates in Jellypod, including the launch of our newest audio model, Horizon.

We're hosting our Weekly Wednesday livestream today at 10 a.m. Pacific Time to discuss the changes (and will demo how to best take advantage of the changes). Hope to see you there!

New Voice Model

We've just rolled out our newest voice model, Horizon, to all Jellypod users at no extra cost.

It is a more expressive model that better captures the nuances of natural conversation and dialog. It's designed to make your hosts sound more lifelike and engaging with clear dictation, better pacing, and subtle emotional cues to bring your podcast to life.

For existing users, you'll need to enable Horizon in your Jellypod account settings. It may impact how the voices you currently use sound, which is why it's default off. For all new users, it's on by default.

Per Episode Hosts

You're now able to adjust hosts for a specific episode without impacting your entire podcast series.

This makes it easier to introduce a new host for a specific episode or remove a host that isn't performing well. You can adjust the hosts both when creating a new episode in the top right-hand corner or when you're editing an episode by clicking on the "Hosts" button on the top toolbar.

Don't forget to regenerate your script if you change the hosts! We hope this makes it easier for you to iterate on your podcasts and be more creative within Jellypod.
