Host Creation Flow & Bug Fixes

One of our core initiatives for August is to get to zero user-facing bugs. Creating podcasts on Jellypod should be fun, easy, and frustration-free. No piece of software is perfect, but we strive to continuously improve Jellypod by eliminating bugs when we see them.

This week we focused on improving host creation, simplifying Magic Voice Design and Professional Voices into a single flow and making voice cloning a distinct decision before you create your new AI podcast host.

Voice cloning is a core feature of Jellypod, allowing you to record a few short audio samples and create an AI host that sounds just like yourself. Uploading audio samples and recording in-browser should now just work better! Also, it's a pretty wild experience to hear your voice clone say things in your AI podcast that you never actually said!

Behind the scenes, we also made some improvements to ensure an even higher bar of privacy and security, which our current (and future) enterprise clients are excited about. And we've improved our messaging on host creation so it's easier to understand what went wrong if there's an error creating or updating your host.
